We want to be very clear, all Sultra Leather products are made using REAL Full-grain Leather. We are leather makers and we are proud of our extensive knowledge and know-how in the leather industry. We certainly don’t like it when competitors use misleading terms such as “PU Leather” when noting the content of their products. To put it simply, PU leather is a synthetic material. It is not leather. It is a substitute used when a company wants to sell a low-cost alternative and make it sound like it’s providing something that people want. That drives up their margins but gives consumers sub-par product. You deserve better!

At Sultra, we use different types of leather including buffalo, cowhide, and lambskin. Like most responsible leather manufacturers, we use leather that is a biproduct of the food industry and our use of it is a focus on sustainability – we don’t let it go to waste.
